Born and raised in New England. YES. I AM a New England sports fan. 

With a degree in architecture and a passion for art & design, this site was started as part portfolio [lite] and part blog. While I've been going back and forth about starting a blog for a while, a recent move to San Francisco seemed the perfect time. 

I love to travel, even though I don't get to do it nearly as much as I would like. It started when I was young and while I may travel far from home, I will ALWAYS find my way back to New England. [plus I always take a little bit of New England with me]

Current Dream Trip: Istanbul [although I wouldn't turn down a ride on the Orient-Express]

I'm an avid reader! Typically fiction, with the occasional work of non-fiction thrown in the mix. Reading is an amazing way to travel in your mind when you can't travel in the world.

Favorite Book: American Gods by Neil Gaiman

I will NEVER turn down a cup of coffee or a good glass of wine.

Out of New England is my blog. A mixture of topics, including reading, travel, design [architecture, interiors, art, graphics, fashion], sports, and occasionally a good coffee shop.
